Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Welcome to Expiry Reminder ("the App"), developed by Ahoban. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and how it is safeguarded.

2. Information We Collect

Local Data: By default, all expiry items, categories, notes, document numbers, and attached photos or PDFs are stored locally on your device. We do not transmit this data to our servers.

Cloud Backup (Optional): If you choose to enable the Google Drive Backup feature, the App will request authorization to store a backup file in your personal Google Drive account. This file remains entirely under your control and within your Google account's storage. We do not have access to your Google Drive contents outside of the specific folder created by the App.

Analytics & Crash Logs: To improve app stability, we use Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics. These services collect anonymous usage metrics and crash logs (such as device model, OS version, and error stack traces). We ensure no personal expiry data or sensitive information is included in these logs.

3. Device Permissions

4. Third-Party Services

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the free version of the App. AdMob may collect certain device identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID) to provide personalized ads in compliance with Google's ad policies.

5. Contact Us

If you have any questions regarding your privacy, please contact us at our official support channels.

Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Expiry Reminder, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please uninstall the App.

2. Use of the App

Expiry Reminder is a productivity tool designed to help you organize and track expiry dates. The App is provided "as is", and while we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee flawless execution on every device configuration.

3. Limitation of Liability

You are solely responsible for ensuring critical dates (such as passports, licenses, warranties, or medicines) are tracked and renewed on time. Ahoban is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from missed notifications, app malfunctions, device power issues, or data loss.

4. Data Backup Responsibility

It is your responsibility to maintain backups of your data. We recommend regularly using the Google Drive backup feature or the local export tools provided within the App. We are not responsible for lost data resulting from device damage, formatting, or app uninstallation.

5. Purchases

The "Remove Ads" feature is processed securely through Google Play Billing. It is a one-time purchase tied to your Google Play account.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
